this is 20 minutes or so after doing a somersault off my bike onto pavement at about 30mph. you can see the patches of flesh missing off my palms. i'm still running on adrenaline in this picture and feeling no pain. that lasted for about 15 more minutes before my wrists started swelling up and i realized that they might actually be broken if not badly sprained. by a couple hours later, i couldn't even lift my arms to eat dinner and for the rest of the trip, lani had to help me dress myself and shower.
